HOW IS THE COURSE STRUCTURED?

The PADI Divemaster course involves classroom lessons and practical applications with real students under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor. The various components of the course include diving theory in depth, diver safety and risk management, the business of diving, awareness of the dive environment, etc. It generally takes about 2-3 months to not merely meet but achieve mastery of the skills required to complete the course. During this time, you will be treated like a member of the staff and get to learn not only diving but also a dive professional’s way of life.

If you are not a certified diver already, you can sign up for the Zero to Hero programme which covers all the prerequisite courses and dives before starting the DM training.

WHAT NEXT?

In order to teach PADI courses, such as Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue, and even Divemaster courses, one must be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, which is the natural career progression for a Divemaster.
