HOW TO REACH BAREFOOT SCUBA RESORT

Only a short flight away from several major airports in mainland India and in geographical proximity to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, the Andaman Islands are an easily accessible, world-class dive destination. Divers from all around the world have been visiting these islands for over two decades now.
FLIGHT TO SRI VIJAYA PURAM (PORT BLAIR - IXZ)
The main gateway to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands is the new international airport at Sri Vijaya Puram (formerly and still fondly known as Port Blair). There are direct daily flights from Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, and Visakhapatnam. During the peak travel season, limited direct flights from Mumbai, New Delhi, and Kuala Lumpur to Port Blair may also be available.
FERRY TO SWARAJ DWEEP (HAVELOCK) ISLAND
From Port Blair airport, you can take a taxi to either Haddo Jetty or Phoenix Bay Jetty depending on the ferry operator you are booked on. Daily ferries depart for Havelock Island from 6 AM to 2 PM. Both jetties are about a 15-minute drive from the airport. If your flight arrives later than 12.30 PM, you may have to spend the night at Port Blair.
Private ferries are the most comfortable and take about 1.5 hours to reach Havelock, whereas government ferries typically take between 2.5 and 3 hours. It may be difficult to procure government ferry tickets since they are usually fully booked and primarily used by locals for inter-island transfers. We recommend booking the private ferry tickets in advance to ensure your travel to Havelock is secured.

Once you arrive at Havelock jetty, Barefoot Scuba Resort is 3 km away - a short ride by rickshaw, taxi, or pre-arranged pickup.
