Barefoot scuba is the best on Havelock!

We did our Advance Open Water here and we were totally happy and satisfied. After having dived at several locations across South East Asia, this was our first time in India. I did a very very detailed research before enrolling with Barefoot scuba. I'm so glad the decision was correct. They are very professional. They follow all the international safety standards and also have plenty of fun! If you want to do real diving...then Barefoot scuba should be your choice.

Underwater is surreal!! I was in awe of the entire experience! Doing my open water PADI course from Barefoot was the best decision ever because everyone there love what they do and they make sure you love it too! The whole team is super chill and fun and their stories will really hearten you. I trained under Avinash who is very swift and professional and helps you pick up skills really fast! He made sure I was safe, learnt all my theory well, was comfortable with my gear and that I accomplished everything in the course! Definitely going back sooner or later! Like Avinash says.. Keep making bubbles! :)

Amazing Scuba Diving Experience!

I did my Open Water Diver course at Barefoot this summer and it was an amazing experience to say the least. Havelock island is one of the best locations to dive at in India and there's no better dive centre than Barefoot Scuba. All the instructors are super knowledgeable and properly uphold all the PADI standards. Besides being a great place to learn Scuba diving, Barefoot is also a great place to hangout and make friends. You'll find the most amazing people from around the globe with tonnes of amazing experiences to leave you awe inspired. Everyone at Barefoot is super chill and fun to hangout with. I had a bomb of time here and definitely will cherish the memories made in these 4 days.

Best place to get your OWD PADI Certification

I did my Open Water Diver certification here in Aug 2022 with Ravi as my instructor. Even though I was very nervous, I was able to complete the tests and get my certificate, while having fun as well - all thanks to Ravi :). Ravi made sure that all the skills were explained properly and gave me enough time to do it at my own pace. All the instructors at barefoot take special care of safety and have high learning standards, even as compared to PADI. The team and overall organisation is super structured. Equipment are all best in class as well. Of course the fact that they are located in one of the most beautiful reef areas is an added bonus! Go ahead and get your certification with Barefoot without a second thought.

If it's Scuba, it's gotta be Barefoot!!

Much against the advice from my well-travelled friends, I decided to take the plunge (quite literally) in the month of August... And I was greeted by clear blue skies that lasted all the 6 days I stayed at Havelock! The team at Havelock is brilliant at their job. The instructors are patient, careful and friendly. The gear and equipments are in great condition! (I noticed some of the other dive shops didn't even give dive computers to their students) I had a splendid experience learning and diving with Barefoot... Can't wait to get back there in February!!

Best place to relax and get an Open Water Liscense

I went there for my Open Water Liscense and didnt regret it any second. My dive instructor, Jobin, was the best. He quickly learned some ASL signs and we had a great way to communicate. He also made me comfortable in everything, so i had a lot of fun. The place is also very peaceful but full of fun. We felt very welcome there. If I go back to Andaman one time, I will definitely go there again!. Already miss this place.

Amazing Boat Dive experience at Barefoot Scuba

For my wife and I, it was the first scuba dive. Naturally, we were quite apprehensive and sceptical about it as we both didn't know swimming along with the fear of losing breath in the depths. However, the barefoot scuba team (Akshay in particular) clearly explained the entire process including the science, techniques, do and don'ts, equipments and a hands on training in shallow waters which allayed our fears, and we confidently jumped off the boat for an amazing experience of the world under water. Thanks and Kudo to our instructors Akshay, Ravi Singh and Anto. You guys are an amazing team. Hope to come back sooner than later for our next dive. If you are planning scuba diving in Havelock Island, go with Barefoot scuba. Do not think twice, and don't go for cheaper options which are aplenty.

I became an Instructor cause of them!!

I was in Barefoot for 20 days for my PADI IDC and also for my INSTRUCTOR EXAMINATION. Superb staff overall and a very homely feeling , heartwarming and over the top welcoming , would recommend everyone to get in touch with them for any kind of scuba certification/ experience if they are visiting Havelock. Thorough professionalism with regard to diving standards, superb getaway to all the beautiful dive sites in Andaman. Ask them for their premium dive site tour if you are a certified diver and you’ll never be disappointed!

Brilliant first dive trip!

I stayed with Barefoot for 5 days in October to finally do my Open water qualification. I cannot recommend these guys enough! The accommodation was spacious and clean and the barefoot camp had a very nice, relaxed atmosphere. All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. My instructor for the course was Akshay who was brilliant, a very nice guy who is passionate about what he does and the ocean. He really helped me find my confidence underwater and made my diving experience and open water course engaging and fun! My only negative comment is that my partner will be upset with me, for I have returned home with a new expensive hobby... I wish I had time to have stayed longer with barefoot and can't wait to come back. It was an incredible mini-trip. Thanks Guys

Highly recommend it!

I highly recommend to anyone looking to do their PADI open water and any other certification on Havelock to do it at Barefoot. The diving instructors are extremely thorough when teaching and making sure you understand everything and the possible risks you could be exposed to, whilst at the same time making it a fun learning experience. At the beginning I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy diving due to various reasons, however, after a week at barefoot I found myself wanting to do the advanced open water course (sadly I couldn’t due to time restraint ;(). The people, location, diving sites and staff really make it the best experience. Additionally the restaurant has the kindest staff making and serving amazing food. I just left a little over a week ago and I already want to go back!

Scuba Diver Course at Barefoot

I did my basic Scuba Diver course with Barefoot. My instructor Anto Antony made the whole experience very smooth and fun. He was very keen on safety and procedure before any dive, which made me feel very comfortable. He is a great teacher and is very knowledgeable about the ocean. I was immediately convinced that I want to dive more after my first dive. I am going to return here to get my future certifications for sure! The whole Barefoot team is generally very cooperative, friendly and highly competent.
